Your walking along, minding your own business when suddenly you trip over something, as you make contact with the 'thing' you hear a curt hiss.

Before you have chance to get up it pounces on you, and it comes into view, 'it' is a cat. But it's the colour of the night, how amazing, and it spoke!

"Yes I'm a talking cat who can read minds, get over it. Now I'll get straight to the point, what are you doing in Ciel's realm? he no longer likes visitors, what with him preparing for this dragon and all. And if he gets this dragon he's got his heart set on he won't have any." The feline chuckles in a sinister way, "I suppose I could take you to him.... IF you have something of interest," he smiles slyly and awaits your answer.

"Um I was just exploring... and well, I did find this coin on my travels," you pull out the shiny silver coin and the cat's orbs widen. But the feline is to correct this and keeps his feelings incognito.

You laugh and cut him off, "oh please, I saw the way you looked at this, and unless you tell me what's so special about it your not getting anything.

The cat sighs, "ok, ok. The 'coin' is actually a dragon pass and is VERY important to Ciel, give it to him and it's sure to get you into his good books. He can control the elements you know? and I'm simply here to please this dragon he may get... I suppose being as you've got this item of interest I should take you to him but first I must introduce myself. I am Diablo, now come on I don't have all day."

With that the cat pivots upon his hind limbs so he is no longer facing you, then he begins to trot off. You obediently follow him, keeping you eyes on him instead of the ground, until you notice your in mid-air! you let out a startled cry which makes Diablo sneer. Then you realise your not in mid-air but on steps made out of mist, and as you go further up, they start to disappear behind you.

You quicken your pace and soon your high above the ground, enveloped in cloud, yet still Diablo does not slow.

40 minutes later the pair were at a pair of vivid gates, which Diablo told you were made out of stars. The gates automatically open as you near them, they lead to a vortex which makes your jaw drop, yet before

you can turn back Diablo hurls himself against you, sending both of you into the vortex. Your screams echo throughout the vortex... would you survive?

Before you know it the vortex is slowly disappearing and you are on dry land, yet there was no bump as you made contact with the ground, infact you can hardly remember what happened in the vortex, it was so quick... Then you see them; Diablo, and who you presume is Ciel, who is examining the coin, a look of pique is plastered upon your visage, how dare Diablo take my coin pass! you think. When he and Ciel look your way you feel a pang of fear as you remember Diablo could read minds which meant Ciel probably could as well. Diablo scowls yet Ciel laughs.

"Please excuse Diablo, he has a habit of being rude, if you want the pass back here..." he holds it out to you.

"No, it's ok, you need it more than me; I just thought it would have been nice to be asked, instead of being taken for granted."

Ciel nods and motions for you to follow, which you do; he takes you to a huge tree, much larger than normal trees. Once you get close up to it you see information about 'dragons' has been engraved upon it's trunk. Things like the different colours, the different types, information about Gemini and ghost dragons, the 4 stages of a dragons life,

and of course the guardian, Bright star.

"Seems boring I know, but if I get this dragon everything will change. We can travel to different worlds together, us and Diablo of course... all I ever do round here is practice my magic. I have created many toys and jewels incase I get a dragon, for while it is still small it won't be able to travel with me. Now follow me."

You rub your eyes, why did everything seem foggy? then gradually it became clearer, there was a castle infront of you! a castle made out of clouds. You gasp, taken aback, causing Ciel to smile; yet still he says nothing, he simply motions for you to follow him into the castle after he's opened the enterance.

Once the two... three of you were in the castle Ciel told Diablo to wait while he showed you the dragon's quarters. But first you had to climb several flights of stairs, then Ciel opened another enterance.

It didn't appear to be a room, there were the same sounds and smells as outside, but sure enough it was a room. The

wallpaper resembled the night sky, and outside, funnily enough, it was night... before the windows had allowed sunlight in, but here it was starlight. There were many toys and jewels but that was not all; there was a sword, a crystal ball, a dream catcher, and a whole lot more.

"yes it is rather amazing isn't it? I have put a lot of effort making the room as welcoming for my little friend as

possible.... This coin you have given me, it may determine the dragons colour, type, maybe give him or her an extra breath weapon or maybe even something I don't know about, that is why I was so desperate to get my hands on one."

"Hmm it's clear your tired, I suppose I should teleport you back to your own world now mortal..."

Ciel laughs and flashes you a smile, "of course! I just assumed you wished to return home, you are welcome to stay here as long as you want, I'll get someone to set a room up for you. Now, shall we return to the castle?"

"Thank you!" you say, beaming, "and yes... I suppose we should go back to the castle."

So you spend the night in Ciel's realm, returning home the following evening, promising to return.... promising to see the dragon.

It was even chillier than it had been on the night when you first met Diablo and Ciel, the only sounds are the whistling of the zephyr and the crunching of snow as you plod on. Though it was dark you could tell when Diablo had appeared, for he sent a chill down your spine which he got pleasure from. The sly winged feline begins to lead you to Ciel, like he had a week ago.

Ciel does not greet you like he had previously, instead you are hurried into a dark room and told to wait for him. After what seems like hours but is only minutes, stars appear, radiating a silver light.

"oh sorry! my mind just went blank then... but that's great news!!! I'm really happy for you, can I continue to visit the 3 of you?"

Ciel laughed, "you know your always welcome here after finding that coin pass! now follow me."

With that Ciel pivoted upon his heels and begin to march off with you close behind. Then he took you back into the room, and there, in the corner, was a beautiful purple egg, simply floating, you approach it and gently run a hand over the smooth brittle shell. This made Diablo's fur bristle; but it was clear he was just being overprotective, but still you backed away slightly, just to ease the tension. Then you are shown to your room, the room you had resided in before, the room you would reside in till the egg hatched.

One morning, at about 5 am, one of Ciel's servants charged in, handed you a gown and hurried you into the hatchery where Ciel stood examining the egg, along with Diablo, an excited expression upon his handsome visage.

"It's hatching," he whispered, his eyes looked as though they were about to fall out of his head, but they remained stuck in their sockets.

Not long after that the egg began to crack, and then a grey eyelid flickered open and a huge green eye stared right at you, before shutting swiftly. And gradually, the hatchling began to emerge from the purple egg, but it was grey...

"They're always grey at this stage, they turn a different colour later on in life," Ciel said after reading your thoughts.

He extends a hand and the hatchling sniffs it; it is clear the two are already bonded and from now on, they will never be apart. You leave Ciel alone with the hatchling, who he has BIG plans for, to play, but when it comes down to playing, little 'Stargazer', as Ciel and Diablo had named him, was more interested in playing with Diablo's tail. You would return soon baring gifts and anything else that might interest the dragon, but in three days you had to return home...

You popped in again before going to bed and Ciel left you alone with Stargazer, who you sang to sleep.

About a week later Ciel noticed Stargazer's eyes were a turquoise colour, but he decided it was simply because he was tired, and after all it had been at night. Stargazer had grown quite big and was the size of a huge Irish Wolfhound, however he was far stronger. But he behaved most of the time, unless he was tired, in which case he would run off and bite people. Diablo found it hilarious how the maids would scream and run off, he was Stargazer's best friend as well. You had had to go back for a few days though, but now you were back waiting for Stargazer to grow!

Then only a day after your return you saw a dark shadowing up above you, but when you looked up, it was gone. It was late as night and you put it down to you being tired and seeing things, then you saw it again. This was beginning to freak you out so you began to run, when suddenly the large black mass settles infront of you, making you gasp. And on closer inspection you saw it was a crystal air dragon and on it was a female cat/human, her skin was an ashen hue and her hair was of the darkest ebony genre. She smiled before opening her mouth to speak:

"Hello, I am Raven, from the Silver Valley adoption agency, and I am looking for Ciel and the dragon Stargazer."

"T-h-e-e-e-r-e in that r-o-o-o-m up there," you mumble pointing to a room up the stairs, the hall you were in was square and all the rooms on the second storey were exposed.

You creep up the stairs after them and put your ear to the door, you hear Stargazer squaking like a bird and Ciel chuckling, and then you here Raven, she was talking to Ciel about the coin. But before you knew it you heard people heading towards the door so you darted behind a pillar.

After Raven had left you knocked on Ciel's door and once he had said 'come in' you immediately began to ask a question, but when you saw Stargazer you instantly stopped. He was an adolescent! And he had blue eyes, which meant he must be a rare silver! You instantly shot over to him and hugged his neck, and in return he nuzzled your check affectionately and began to make a purring sound.

You sigh then notice a star like mark in his chest then you see the coin was gone, it must be in Stargazer's chest... the thought made you shudder first but you got over it, and once you had you turned your attention back to Ciel and bombarded him with questions, which he answered hastily before coming across and patting Stargazer who raised his head to met Ciel's hand each time. He instantly went over to the sword, which he hadn't been able to pick up before because it was to heavy, picked it up by the handle and began swinging it about. Then he examined his other gifts, including the gift Raven had given him, which was a vase made out of gold, which he adored because it shone brightly and he could see his reflection in it. Raven had said it was owned by a king of Egypt before and was of high value.

The next day Ciel took Stargazer out and the two of them went exploring and then there was a great feast to celebrate Stargazer's 'bithday' as Ciel called it. And everyone spoiled Stargazer and commented on what a fine dragon he was turning out to be, then Diablo stole the huge tuna fish which amused Stargazer. All in all the day went very well and everyone rejoiced. But as Stargazer grew older he began to want more, and what he wanted more than anything was to see some other dragons, so Ciel said he'd see what he could do.

Stargazer didn't grow for some time after that, but eventually, some 4 weeks later, he reached maturity. It was, just after dark when Stargazer was outside in the castle grounds trying to fly, with you and Ciel standing by, Ciel occasionally offering bits of advice. He had been trying to launch himself off the ground but he kept failing, till all of a sudden you and Ciel saw him high above you heads, his powerful wings beating furiously, yet Ciel decided to allow him the time to come back when he wanted. And when he did land he was much larger, his muscles rippled under his taut skin and his wings contracted into their compact position. Then he began to try to use his breath weapons, this he didn't master on that particular night.

You went to bed after that, leaving Ciel and Stargazer alone. The two didn't return till just before dawn, and when they did they went straight to bed. Stargazer never speaks out loud you notice, yet your not sure if dragons do. But sometimes while you watch Ciel seems to offer him a reply when he's said nothing so it could be that he just speaks telepathically. But now Stargazer was an adult and it was time for you to go home; you leave the next day after saying goodbye. Yet you have a strange uncanny feeling about what awaits you when you return.....
