The community of Shangrila
The development lies at the foot of a small extinct volcano - Montana Roja - which is on the right-hand side of the main road from Yaiza to Playa Blanca. A footpath up the volcano from the Playa Blanca side
gives spectacular views over the town and the villas. Quietly situated, the centre of Playa Blanca and the superb beaches there are just a five minute drive from the villa.
The community consists of about ninety 1, 2 and 3 bedroom villas generously spread out around a central communal area which houses the shared pool. This is split into 2 halves,
with one half being particularly child friendly with a gently sloping bottom. Our villa is one row back from the pool, but you can keep an eye on the children from the roof. Also on
the site there is a children's play area and a tennis court
