This is a sample of using
the two different blocks you get from the "tube" method to make two very
different quilts.
One quilt is made from the top down cut and one quilt is made from the bottom up cut. Remember that you get two different blocks? This is a wild kids jungle print in the large triangle and the same strips used throughout. Notice how the one with the darker being the longest looks darker and the one on the right with the light strip the longest looks much lighter although they are the same fabrics throughout. My granddaughter got one and a friends child got the other. (sorry about the bad picture but this is an older quilt set before digital) |

This was made by a little different technique, it is reversible, but you can get an idea of the difference in how the color effects the whole quilt. This one is dark and rich while the one below is light and spring like. |

A floral print on the large
triangle and solid stripes gives the quilt on the left a light a spring
like feel.

Those are the only large quilts I've done on this except for one UFO, oh, and this mini foundation pieced block... |
