LAUNCH PROCEDURES |

|
|
 |
|
|
|
1. Check In |
|
|
|
Pay launch fees to Registration Officer and receive Launch Card(s). |
|
|
|
2. Rocket Inspection & Pad Assignment |
|
|
|
Present rocket(S), fully prepped for flight, to Rocket Safety Officer (RSO) for inspection and pad assignment. RSO will write pad number on launch card. |
|
|
|
3. Place Rocket on Pad |
|
|
|
Wait for Launch Control Officer (LCO) to announce "Range is Now Open", then proceed to pad area. Place rocket on assigned pad and connect ignitor clips. If you need help, ask Pad Officer. Follow all directions of Pad Officer. When finished, return to launch control area. |

|
4. Launch |
|
|
|
Step up to launch controller ONLY when directed to do so by Launch Control Officer. LCO will announce your launch. Count down loudly from 5. When you reach zero, press and hold proper launch button on controller, until engine ignites. If engine doesn't ignite after 20 seconds, release button and follow directions of Launch Control Officer. |

5. Recovery |
|
|
|
IMPORTANT! Do not proceed into recovery area until Launch Control Officer announces "Range is now open". |
