The Best of IM Conversations

For the past few years, I have kept in touch with friends using AIM (AOL Instant Messenger). Sometimes I couldn't help but save a quote or portion from my conversations with friends and here I share with you some of the best excerpts from those IMs. Most of them are either funny, stupid, scary, or disturbing so if you can't handle the stupidity, I suggest you press the "back" button on your browser. The following excerpts are from real conversations with my friends...you can't make this stuff up! Some excerpts have been edited for content (privacy purposes) but the rest of the conversation remains intact. All screen names have been changed to protect the innocent from being abused by their other friends. Me: oh, i remember those quizzes
Friend6: thats why im looking at cliff notes now

Me: not really but sometimes she could ask something detailed

Me: she doesn't believe in mc as far as i know
Me: it's usually like 5 questions and u have to write anywhere from a sentence to a paragraph answer
Friend6: so how are the ques given?

Me: but i always managed to pull an 80 or 85 and sometimes even a 90
Me: i never read so don't go by me
Friend6: looks like im not going to read either but im trying

Me: don't worry though, just read what u can and find out the rest from someone who read it

Me: for the first week and a half i was talking to her i couldn't remember her name for anything but i remembered her friend's name was dawn
Me: i mean what the hell?
Me: and the thing is i have known so many "jens" in my lifetime, how do i forget that name?
Friend6: lol i always remember the people i dont want to remember lol
Me: i know, u can't get them out of ur head because u hate them so much
Me: if only i hated all my friends, i'd be able to remember their names
