CPF as an important resource and support for French as a Second Language education
CPF Membership
Canadian Parents for French (“CPF”) supports the provision of education of French as a Second Language, by providing resources and education to the various programs. Membership in CPF makes this support possible. You are also provided with the following:
- three national and at least three provincial newsletters per year
- first chance at and reduced fees for some activities (such as our summer camps)
- information on the latest research
- resources for children, teens, parents and teachers
- where to find resources for students
- what other parents are doing
- what students are doing and saying
- "how-to" explanations
- where to get more information
- what's happening in your community
- local French resources and activities
- news about local programs
- a say in the running of the organization
- savings on products and services as well as affinity programs
For example, discounts are provided to CPF members for French materials at Kidsbooks and Sophia Books. Membership is required to register for the BC Family French Camp that takes place in three different locations across British Columbia.
