PWFFL 2004 Awards Show - Part 2

[03.12.05] Kalamazoo, MI - Back at TGI Friday's in Kalamazoo, the entire banquet hall found their seats for the evening. There is a large crowd tonight and still a long line of people are waiting at the gates trying to get in to get a glimpse of the Bribin Cup and their favorite PWFFL owners. Here comes Jennifer Garner with the first award of the night.

Pimp Cup

This award goes out to the team that scored the most fantasy points in the entire regular season. Again this year we had a team that scored the second most points in PWFFL history. Last year, Kalamazoo captured all three trophies, including the Pimp cup. In 2004, it took close to 1600 fantasy points to capture this prize. Without further ado our first award of the night goes to:

Winner: Kalamazoo Vikings

(Owner of the Vikings, Puck) This is my trophy. I am actually surprised that after I traded away one of the best wide receivers in the game and a great running back that I actually improved on last season's great fantasy point total. I even amaze myself sometimes. Thank you poofle, this is always a great trophy to win.

President Cup

The President Cup is the award handed to the team with the best head-to-head record and is recognized as the regular season champion. As the regular season champion, this team was awarded the number one seed in the playoffs, which has been a springboard to the Puck Bowl every year.

Winner: Rhode Island Ridicule

(Owner, Libze) I like to thank the league, without sounding like a pompous ass like my husband. This makes the loss in the Puck Bowl a little less painful. I'll be back next year to bring this jerk down a few notches.

Bribin Cup

This is the highest honor that is presented to any member of PWFFL. The Bribin Cup is awarded to the winner of the Puck Bowl and as such has won the honor of being named the league champion. For the first time in the history of the league, we have a team that has done what seemed to be impossible, hoist the Bribin Cup at season's end two years in a row.

Winner: Kalamazoo Vikings

(Owner, Puck) Thank you Jen. This season's Bribin Cup was nice, because finally someone was able to take back-to-back Cups. I never thought it was gonna be possible, the way that Jabin and I traded seasons. This one is nice. I'd like to thank everyone that made this possible, Moss, Kevin Jones, Culpepper, Tony-G, Edge... (The list of names continues on for at least 10 minutes before lettuce is thrown at the champion) You people just don't understand the greatness that is the Kalamazoo Vikings. I will repeat again next year foo's.

Puck Bowl MVP

Winner: Tony Gonzalez - Kalamazoo Vikings

We have to take a commercial break, but when we return Ms. Garner will start giving out awards.
