| Emergency Rental Assistance PWEC provides emergency rental assistance to individuals or families whose rental payments are in arrears or due within five calendar days. PWEC pays for the first month�s rent when an individual or family is moving from a temporary shelter to permanent housing. PWEC provides motel vouchers, which is necessary because of the lack of emergency shelters in our community. PWEC provides overflow emergency beds and serves as an extension of the Continuum of Care, and are used in conjunction with collaborations with local services to house clients until shelter beds are available. |
