| Who We Are The P.W. Enhancement Center (PWEC) is a non-profit community based organization whose mission is to provide bundle services under one umbrella to help people who are homeless, less fortunate and underprivileged, and to enhance the quality of life for the betterment of the community. Our vision is to build a multifaceted facility that houses long-term, wraparound services, including, but not limited to: emergency shelter, employment services, youth education, homeless prevention, substance abuse counseling, basic life skills, food services, permanent housing and other needed resources. PWEC is currently the only agency in Moreno Valley offering these supportive services to those that are homeless or low-income, who would otherwise have to rely on services outside this community. The goal of the center is to move men and women from homelessness to self-sufficiency. The center often commonly provides services to men and women dealing with dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse. The center provides comprehensive services while these men and women stabilize and acquire the skills needed for independent living. PWEC staff provides support moving toward economic self-sufficiency, job placement, and permanent housing. |
