PWFFL 2003 Awards - Part 2

[01.10.04] Kalamazoo, MI - Back at TGI Friday's in Kalamazoo, the entire banquet hall found their seats for the evening. There is a large crowd tonight and still a long line of people are waiting at the gates trying to get in to get a glimpse of the Bribin Cup and their favorite PWFFL owners. Here comes Salma with the first award of the night.

Pimp Cup

This award goes out to the team that scored the most fantasy points in the entire regular season. This year we had a team that scored the second most points in PWFFL history. The Pimp Cup has spent most of its time in Kalamazoo, but last year the Seattle Slimy Slugs were able to hoist this Cup over their heads. In 2003, it once again took 1500 fantasy points to capture this prize and only one team was able to do it.

Winner: Kalamazoo Vikings

(Owner Puck walks up to the podium) Last year I looked upon my trophy case and a very valued item that had never left my graces was missing. Tonight, through hard work and dedication, I can finally return it back to its rightful place. Thank yous go out to all my hos out there who made the scores possible. Peace out! (Walks off stage with both hands raised very Nixon-like)

President Cup

The President Cup is the award handed to the team with the best head-to-head record and is recognized as the regular season champion. As the regular season champion, this team was awarded the number one seed in the playoffs which has been a springboard to the Puck Bowl every year.

Winner: Kalamazoo Vikings

(Owner of the Vikings, Puck) That's right folks, 2 for 2, and there is more where this came from. Next year, 14-0!

Bribin Cup

This is the highest honor that is presented to any member of PWFFL. The Bribin Cup is awarded to the winner of the Puck Bowl and is now the league champion. This trophy is very seldom paired together with the other two Cups, but this year is no ordinary year.

Winner: Kalamazoo Vikings

(Puck is handed the trophy by Puck Bowl IV Champion, Libzie) I'd like to revisit the words of our former champion when I say, I AM the true undisputed champion. Ok, I've had my fun. I would greatly like to thank everyone for their hard play this year. You all made this undefeated season truly special and well earned. Jabin, you gave me one heck of a game and I thought for sure you had me for awhile there. Libz, I'd like to thank you for putting up with my many hours I put in as president these past five years. Winning my first Bribin Cup was sweet revenge. The second was relief. Thank you everyone and I hope to see you all next year, but I'm keeping the Cups! (Puck smiles heavily as he walks off stage)

Puck Bowl MVP

Winner: Jamal Lewis - Kalamazoo Vikings

(Owner, Puck) Who would have thought just before the draft that this guy would fall to me at the 6th overall pick. This guy should be a Yooper this year, thank you Jon. I'm sure you'll get some nasty emails from all two Slug fans in the world.
