Sending even more 'troops to Iraq' and or keeping those that are there longer, should also seem more feasible, in the current climate of 'fear' and 'terror' created by the authorities, both here and abroad, especially by our close neighbours Indonesia.
So regardless of all the problems the new Anti-Terrorist bill has created for civil libertarians and the skeptics alike here in Australia and regardless of all the dissent over waging illegal and degrading wars - that have led to more State sanctioned terror - you will live in fear of our national insecurity - because john hoWARd said so!
The tape was sent via the Indonesian authorities and Australian media giants who have 'no affiliation' with john hoWARd the coward?
You know the Indonesian authorities that 'set-up' the raid that had allegedly caught the Bali bombers that everyone has been looking for since at least 2002.
You know when the Indonesian police accidentally let Azahari bin Husin go.
Yeah, the same authorities that reported that he'd been blown up then changed their mind the very next morning and said they shot him instead.
And now those same authorities claim to have caught the other three that allegedly helped assist last month's Bali suicide bombings that killed four Australians.
You don't have to worry about the suicide bombers though because they blew themselves up and there are no witnesses and now swiftly taken care of by the capture of only those who allegedly 'assisted' in the bombings.
All this nonsense to hide the fact that the Bali bombing was not State Sanctioned Terror when it clearly was in relation to the explosive used in the second Bali bomb blast in 2002, which was clearly military hardware.
But don't you worry they learned from their first experience with Australian skeptics and made sure all the bombs that went off recently were home made (to look like they were home grown).
They also learned how to ensure someone else took the blame and how to provide material allegedly found on the day of the set-up (books and things), (videos and the like), to have you 'believe' their story.
Don't forget the guilt of the accused that were paraded and dragged in chains before the rednecks with bags on their heads like you'd see in Guantanamo after they've been tortured into making submissions!
This was planned very well and the propaganda is duel purpose.
This type of propaganda can also promote the fear so very necessary to pass draconian legislation here in Australia. With the community constantly living in more fear anything is possible, right, you little coward wimp?

You can also continue to wage more illegal and degrading war unabated as well as send more troops to Iraq and or keep them there longer.

Recording threats is common practice for warmongers like them anywhere in the world but this is thought to be the first time it has been done in Indonesia. It is also the most specific threat made against Australia and the first to name specific politicians.
But it is not the first time that the bombs went off in Indonesia to promote fear and the political power for hoWARd the coward and his cronies to wage illegal and degrading wars in 'their' war on terror (which is terror).
Speaking in South Korea, hoWARd the coward played down the Iraq war link and fears for his own safety on the job because he amongst others knows all about promotion and war propaganda and has the resources to achieve this.
He said he wasn't the least bit surprised that the video linked Australian involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq to us being a terrorist target. Because he knows all about it and the new draconian Anti-Terror Bill will protect us from all that nonsense. Right you coward!

Asked if Australia would be less of a target when our forces eventually pull out of Iraq, hoWARd warned that the threat would not change markedly for years.

Alice Springs Correctional Centre superintendent Peter Rainbird would not say why prisoners had staged the riot.
But he said guards would consult prisoners about concerns in the jail.

Many years ago I was cruising past Fremantle prison to work on my Harley. Gave it a few blaps for the crew inside and wondered how the hell they were coping in the heat with a piss-bucket for company.
That night I saw on the news that Freo prison had been torched by inmates :-)
Jail lockdown as riot rages

A TERRITORY jail was locked down yesterday as maximum security prisoners rioted.
Inmates in the reception area of Alice Springs jail's maximum security section barricaded doors and set fire to mattresses about 10am.
Guards responded by locking the jail down and rushing to the area, clearing the prisoners and putting out the fires within an hour.
Eight prisoners involved in the riot were taken to isolation cells.
Alice Springs Correctional Centre superintendent Peter Rainbird would not say why prisoners had staged the riot.
But he said guards would consult prisoners about concerns in the jail.
Supt Rainbird would not say which prisoners were involved in the riot but confirmed it would be investigated and jail procedures would be reviewed.
"Once we finish the investigation we will be able to deal with the issues,'' he said.
NT Police also will investigate the riot and may lay charges of criminal damage against the prisoners.
Firefighters were called out but the fires had been extinguished when they arrived.
The jail's maximum security unit remained in lockdown last night.
"There was only superficial damage caused,'' Supt Rainbird said.
"Public safety was not compromised at the time.'' He described the incident as "moderately serious''.

Stop the War Coalition condemns Howard's Terror Australis
In the early hours of Tuesday 8 November, raids involving over 400 police, helicopters, ambulance and fire brigades were made on homes in Sydney and Melbourne. Men charged with 'terrorism offences' were shackled and dressed in the same orange jumpsuits used by the tortured prisoners held in Guantanamo Bay. The raids were carried out as Prime Minister John Howard, citing 'intelligence' about an imminent terrorist attack in Australia, tried to win support for more draconian 'anti-terror' laws.
Together with troop deployments around the world, these actions are seen as necessary for Australia's participation in the 'war on terror'.
But this so-called 'war on terror' is a farce. Not only is it being used as a justification for expensive and deadly military adventurism, but it is also providing an excuse to silence democratic dissenting voices and a smokescreen for distasteful policies at home, such as changes to the IR system. It has created an unnecessary climate of fear, legitimized selective policing and Muslim vilification, encouraged trial by embedded media, and undermined basic human rights including the presumption of innocence.
We are being asked to trust that Howard and Ruddock are acting in our interests and believe that police and security forces know best and never make mistakes or abuse their powers. But we remember the children overboard scandal, the SIEV X disaster, the claims of Iraq's WMDs made from uranium sourced in Niger and deployable in 45 minutes, and the deportation of US peace activist Scott Parkin. We know that 100,000 men, women and children in Iraq have paid with their lives for the stuff-ups and lies of the Howard government and its intelligence operatives.
We also know that if the Howard government is serious about stopping terrorism it would cease its perpetration of and support for state terrorism in Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan. After all, if Australia is at greater risk of a terrorist attack, it is because of the foreign policies of the Howard government.
For its part, the Stop the War Coalition will continue to expose and resist the underlying agenda of the 'war on terror'. We will keep speaking out against the unjust and injurious actions of our government and military forces and will not be cowed by sedition laws. We will continue to join people around the world in working to end the military and economic occupation of Iraq, demand that Australian troops be brought home, and support those resisting occupation. We will stand with our Muslim communities against scapegoating and oppose pressures to turn Muslims into an extension of the police. We will unite with Muslims in actively resisting these 'anti-terror' laws and call on other organisations to join with us in building community opposition to abuses of power by government, police and security forces.
This is how we will help build a more peaceful world, free from terrorism against all peoples.
