| International Style -After Gropius and Mies migrated to the United States, the American version of Bauhaus architecture came to be known as International Style. -Mies' work brought the Bauhaus style to American cities, and is reflected in many buidings built from 1950 to the present. -The International Style has come to be associated with capitalism, large business, and buildings for the rich, in contrast to Gropius's original goals of mass architecture. |
