This WebQuest was designed for eighth grade students of all ability levels.  There is quite a bit of reading and writing involved in this WebQuest.  The students have had an entire year of either integrated science or advanced earth science.  These classes give them the background that they need to complete the project.  The students are also to use their prior knowledge of plants, animals and their interactions.

The only modification that would need to be made is with students that have difficulty finding information or reading, it would be to their advantage to be given topics that have a lot of information in your library.  For higher ability students, they should be given topics that may prove to be a little more challenging because of their resourcefulness.
