CitiYouth for Causes is an event organized by YMCA and Citibank that aims to channel the creative and entrepreneuring energy of Youths to Social Services. This event is graced by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister Of State For National Development. 25 selected group will adopt a VWO and do a 8 weeks project to meet the needs of the VWO. In the process, Citibank will provide S$1600 to each team to start off their projects.
We have adopted Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital as our beneficiary Voluntary Welfare Organisation for this CitiYouth for Causes project.
Current plans we have for KWSH are:
1. To help KWSH Raise Funds;
2. To help KWSH gain more volunteers; and
3. To help KWSH gain awareness among the public.
We aim to achieve these through
a. Through sales of Postcards and Commemorative sets;
b. Through ZO Cards distribution and Volunteer Appreciation program;
and
c. Through KWSH webpage creation and Photo Exhibition.
