| Why am I doing this? |
In some other countries, helping out at homes/charities is a way
of life, nothing extraordinary. But in Singapore, volunteerism is
only for those with free time to spare. I hope, eventually we make
volunteerism a Lifestyle. With this we take the first step through
this Project. If you think you share the same vision, join us. Your
voices/ideas could make a big contribution to someone's life/s.

Woo Wee Ping |
| Project Role: |
Event Operation Manager / Publication and Archiving Officer |
Interest /
Experience : |
Free lance photography, backpacking, diving, swimming and guitar. |
| Why am I doing this? |
When we take pictures of people it always seems we are requesting
that they smile for the camera. Have you ever wondered why that
is?
Well, it appears that a "smile" is a universal sign language
that states we have peaceful intentions in mind. Through volunteering
by utilizing my interests, I seem more smiles and in the process,
gain more knowing I have made made that difference - their smiles.

Loong Chee-Yuh |
| Project Role: |
Financial Controller / Information Technology Specialist |
Interest /
Experience : |
Traveling, water sports (eg swimming, diving, boating) and wheel
sports (eg cycling, blading). |
| Why am I doing this? |
I always believe that helping others is also helping oneself.
Every little bit that you give out, will be returned, twice-fold,
thrice-fold back to you eventually.
In the same way that no one is totally self-reliant and not dependent
on others for help, I believe that everyone has the capacity to
volunteer whatever service he or she can afford. |
