NEWS

• There is now a Synod Youth Committee in place which has as it's purpose to co-ordinate ministry among children, youth and young adults within the Synod and to ensure communication with other Christian Young People in Canada and elsewhere. Peter Rombeek is the convener.
  
• For those of you wondering about transportation for Triennium; Donna McIveen, as a member of the Synod Youth Committee will be booking a bus. $3000 will be covered by the Synod. The Presbytery also has funds set aside for this purpose. Final details will be available soon.
  
• The Synod Youth Worker position has been divided into two positions: Eastern Ontario and Quebec. The successful candidates for these positions will be in place soon.
  
• Churches planning to hold Daily Vacation Bible School this summer include: Westminster, Grace, St. Giles,  Osgoode, and St. Paul's. Youth interested in helping out can contact the churches directly.
  
• Mike Muunick, Peter Rombeek and Debbie Montpetit are traveling to Princeton Theological Seminary at the end of this month to attend Princeton's Youth Ministry Institute Youth Forum. Ask them about it when they return.
