Tampa Trip - Isaac T. Jeff, II |
 |
January 2001, this trip was a great success.
Praise DeLight loaded up on a 15 passenger van on our way to Tampa, FL.
We may have been tight, but we made it by the help of God. We
stayed at the Tahitian Inn, what a great hotel. When we arrived at
St. Paul, the welcoming committee was excellent. We sang so good
that St. Paul invited us back in May. |

Real." The wonderful word of God came forth and then we came
back to let them know that after all the things we have been through we,
"Still Have Joy." After this, we let the Lord have his way. |

On Thursday evening, March 8, 2001, hearing "That

that the Lord truly blesses others, using this ministry of music.
Elder Andre' is truly blessed and we haven't heard anything yet!
Elder Andre' represented well, and gave God the glory throughout this
one hour live interview. As Elder Andre' often says, "Stay tuned

Praise DeLight showcased more of their talent in the part. Elder
Andre' was being given money for his CD, even though he didn't have any

lot of food and as they were digging in the pots and pans, Praise
DeLight blessed them with, "This what I Feel Is Real" and they sent
everyone home on a high note, with "You Can Run, but You Can't Hide."
This was a great celebration as members from other groups joined in to

crowd looked in Ah, as to say, "Who are they!" We were followed
outside with members asking for cards and phone numbers. |

Singles Conference - Holy Tabernacle |
 |
On June 2, 2001, the highlight of this performance
was, that prior to our singing, the power had gone out and there were no
lights. After about 20 minutes in the dark, the MC and host was
becoming sadden and really wanted this evening to be grand. She
came back and asked Elder Andre' to pray for the electricity.
Without hesitation, he prayed and in the midst of prayer the power came
back on. To God be the glory. Elder Andre's son's asked him,
"Daddy, how did you do that?' |

Bennett Temple, Pompano Beach - Tiffany Johnson |
 |
On Saturday evening, July 28, 2001, Praise DeLight
was scheduled to appear at Tabernacle of Praise in Fort Lauderdale and
much to our surprise, no one showed up at the church and we were not
informed that the program had been cancelled. We were all dressed
up and no where to go. One of our musicians showed up and told us
that another church nearby was having a program, but when we arrived
there, not many were there either. So we just got on the highway
and journeyed to Pompano Beach and found Bennett's Temple and asked if
we could be on program. They agreed, but after about an hour and a
half of waiting and helping to raise and offering, the hour became too
late and we had to leave without singing. Now don't get me wrong,
we had church and got our praise on and we were promised to be invited
back in the future. I wonder if John P. and Kirk had to go through
the same making process? To God be the glory. |

Concert, Miami - Johnny Williams |

he will give you the desires of your heart and I want for Elder Andre'
to be at this level. The concert was great and Elder Andre' made
it to the bus and met chatted with a few of New Life's members. |

received, that they asked us to perform another selection. While
still on fire and dripping with sweat, we took the crowd home with,
"You Can Run, but You Can't Hide." Elder Andre' could stop
after the soundtrack had ended and the crowd wanted more. We had
to tell him, "It's over, were hot and it's time to go." This great
indeed a great outdoor outing. |

Night of Praise, Miami |
 |
On Saturday evening, September 15, 2001, we loaded on
the church van to Miami, FL to share in this Night of Praise. Upon
our arrival, songs were being sang to the honor and glory of God.
There were many talented youth groups here also, but once Praise DeLight
hit the stage, this service went to another level. We made mention
of the recent 9-11 tragedy in New York and sang, "All That I Have Is
His," knowing that we can't take anything with us when it's our time
to go. After Sister Cunnington sang herself happy, we took the
crowd to church with, "Still Have Joy." Elder Andre'
couldn't get enough, as he ran back up to the microphone and shouted,
Joy, Joy, Joy!
