Super Summer

Wow. There isn't much that I can really say to express what this camp meant to me this summer (2003). But for whatever reason, it was the greatest thing I have ever experienced.

Though I know that no one besides Drewbie, CMac, and a few scattered others will EVER visit my website, I must put in a good word for Super Summer. If Falls Creek were the rolling plains of Oklahoma, Super Summer would be the peak of Mt. Everest! But Super Summer isn't as much of a "mountaintop experience" as other camps can be. The whole mountaintop thing is like when you get on a spiritual high, you feel awesome...but as soon as it is gone, you dip further into the valley than you would usually be. Basically, you go into a deep depression. But Super Summer isn't so much like that. I mean, it FEELS like a spiritual high, but that is because there is some degree of spiritual high in it. But it is mostly spiritual GROWTH, so you get to take home a large degree of that "high" and keep it. At least, that's how it seemed to ME.

This page is going to focus mostly on my Super Summer 2003 visit. I may add to it next year when I attend Super Summer 2004. I am already looking forward to it. Anyway, I have included some good stuff just for you if you want to learn more about my personal experience.

I have also typed out my notes from the messages we received from Walter Nusbaum.

Well, that's about all I have for Super Summer. Hope what I had was enough to convince you that Super Summer is the greatest thing ever!
