I. Why should we study apologetics?
1. It is commanded
-I Peter 3:15= "But in your heaarts set apart Christ as
Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks
you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this
with gentleness and respect,"
2. You gain confidence
3. Your commitment to God
becomes deeper
-There is a connection between knowledgee and love
4. You care more
-When your mind and heart connect, you kknow that what you believe
is the truth
II. We have to return to the "original formula" (Biblical truth in teachings) to save our world and our nation
III. Three Kings of Truth We Need to Return to
1. Basic Philosophical Truth
-Reason and Thought
2. Moral Truth
3. Biblical Truth
-Holding to an unchanging standard
