Committees All church committee members shall be recommended by the nominating committee and elected by the church, unless otherwise indicated in the description below. The committees shall be nomiinated and elected annually. Benevolence Committee This committee will be composed of four (4) members. The chairman to be elected by the church at the time of the other church officers and teachers are elected, and take office the first of October. 1. The chairman will appoint three (3) members to serve on the committee. 2. The committee will be concerned with the provision of food for the immediate family of members who experienced death. 3. The committee shall contact the immediate family, ONLY to see if food or other services of the church are needed. ( Church member, son or daughter.) 4. This committee shall seek volunteers from the church membership. |
