The Euphonium and the Bass sections merges together as a section in PL Band which forms a unique bonding between the seniors and juniors.

Besides having combined band practice, sectionals and individual practice are a crucial role in polishing up our technical skills. It is a necessity to be musically and technically prepared for every combine practice, so as to progress faster each week.

Sectional outings are very important activities from our section to mantain close friendships. We spend fruitful times catching up with each other through lunch gatherings and chalets.

As a section, we strongly believe in being efficient and working hard.

I hereby encourage the juniors to keep this 'traditions' going strong. Although there will always be some difficulties learning the skills of the playing the instruments, with determination to succeed in playing, you will be guaranteed that you can achieve your goal. Playing an instrument has the same principle as studying, constant practices are needed to improve. A slow learner who works hard and practices hard can be an outstanding player in the section, or even in the band. Never give up, and work diligently towards your goal!!!
