Some decisions that need to be made. I think if by chance we lose the next IC we should pull in the 5th alliance member. Of course by deciding to do this it creates many more questions that need answers. First who do we pull in? I'm leaning towards Andy or Stacy with a slight edge to Stacy. I know you all were partial to Andy and if you still are I don't have a problem with him. Here is my take on the two of them. Andy is more likely to agree to the alliance than Stacy I think but I think he's also more likely to break it (just ask Joe). It�s a tough call if Stacy says no we could be in trouble and if Andy doesn't stick we could be in trouble. I'll with whatever you all want. Then that leads to another question. Is this 5th person a full member of the alliance with the same chances as the four of us or is he/she the first person voted out once we reach the final 5. I personally would like to see the 5th have an equal chance but I'll defer that to you all. The only thing that can stop us from winning this game is to walk into the merge 5-5 and have one member with 3 votes against them. We know Tex has 3 against him so even 5-5 we can take them down. We pull a 5th member into the alliance and we can almost certainly avoid 1 person picking up 3 votes before the merge. PS Who would we vote out next I think my choice made itself obvious in this since there is only one left. Annette. Lets see what everyone thinks. CHLOE'S RESPONSE: Ok I think this does take some thinking. I think if we lose the next IC Andy and Stacy will probably both be happy to vote Annette anyway- and we should try to talk to them without mentioning the alliance first. It is very hard to decide who to choose from Andy and Stacy- I can see arguments for both. I think I would perhaps go for Andy because the addition would probably be smoother- but can see why Lex is worried about Andy not sticking. I think if we go into the merge in the stronger position he would but who can tell. I think IF we decide to ask someone we need to feel the waters very carefully first. I think probably we might be best waiting til after the next IC- or at least til we see what it is. But it is a tough call. Darren, Bob what do you think? BOB'S RESPONSE: yes well so far i would agree on annette also. she hasn't really been around much. but, i don't really know why we would need a fifth member of the alliance...if we lose again, it would be us four vs. the other two left on the tribe. to pull in another member seems kinda pointless, now that we wouldn't have to worry about ANOTHER MORE POWERFUL alliance voting us off. LEX'S COUNTER RESPONSE: My concern isn�t with pre-merge problems its post merge problems. We are all going to make the merge that�s a given. It�s what happens to us from there that is the question. If let�s say Annette, Andy and Stacy vote for me next TC then say Andy and Stacy vote for me again at the TC before the merge. We will go into the merge 5-5 but I will have 5 votes their highest is Tex with 3. It would be a tie which then goes to previous votes to determine who goes. I think it was bound to happen- especially with Jet Points which we hadn't perhaps bothered with as much as we might. The decision to vote Laura out was fairly simple as she has issues at home right now so thankfully didn't cause a rift in the tribe. There is a little bother going on in the alliance now about whether to admit a 5th member. Lex is pro because he says that was no one has 3 votes after the merge- so we would automatically get final 5. But he is very keen for it to be Stacy and I am concerned this is because he has another alliance with her (call me suspicious or what) because he often talks about her as in me and Stac this and stuff. I could be being really mistrusting but am slightly concerned. I don't have a real problem with this as she is a great player (tho this could act against me later) but I think I like Andy more as a person. And what about poor Annette- no one even seems to be considering her. My opinion is we can pretty easily persuade Andy an dStacy to vote Annette if we lose again which hopefully we won't and not worry too much. The current RC is pretty cool- I seem to be worth lots of money :) I think probably because I have a high IQ and GPA (I am on straight As in Uk grades which I know equates to a 4 GPA in the US) and do a lot of exercise and stuff- our tribe seems to be doing pretty well on that so far- but we'll have to see lol! If I had to choose the two people I would choose least to go thru with it would probably be Annette and Stacy- but Darren in a close third place. I feel lots friendlier with people like Bob and Andy- tho I trust Darren and Annette so it's not really a problem. I would have gone that way because no way would I betray the tribe and he is the least active but he is also a nice guy...The plan seems to be that Yanomamo stay together and vote together and stuff which is fine..until people start talking about maybe we should throw the next challenge in case we don't merge at 10 and the other tribe ends up having to vote someone out. I wouldn't want that to happen but don't really agree with throwing challenges. I think that Rotu probably won the IC because we seem more determined to make the best of it as a new tribe and focus on NOW not old tribes or the merge (tho in the case of a TC for me old tribal loyalties would stand). I am not entirely sure what is going on because I think oour old alliance stands, and don't think we have any new members..but i got an email from Stacy saying they had to loose that IC because they had 4 to 2, and she was telling me when we were chatting that 'we' had worked out what to do in potential TCs and stuff. So either she is in the alliance and no one told me (unlikely I think) or she is just being very dominant (as usual and it is beginning to piss me off). I don't like bieng TOLD what to do- it is up to me and if we have TC the Yanomamo lot in our tribe will decide who to vote. I think things are getting a little too collective. There is the alliance of 4 but there is also Stacy and Andy. It trust Bob, and probably Darren but am not sure about Lex- because he is not so chatty and stuff. But we will see. I think our tribe (Rotu) has managed to put differences behind them and work together and be friendly much more than the other tribe has. I feel like I am getting to know the ex-Caboclos quite well. From what I've heard (which may just be talk) from people on my tribe who have gone into the other tribe they haven't seen much point in mixing with the other 2 cuz they will vote them out anyway...or so they say. People are quite worried that the hosts are trying to advantage people from Caboclos and plotting some crazy things- which I sincerely doubt will come off the ground. I am not sure how we will do in the next challenge- Cedric is not sure about making it there and as always I have time problems...we are hoping it won't be too time-sensitive. The Maraamu ex-Yanomamo lot are encourgaing us to throw the challenge in case we don't merge and they end up losing again after that and have to vote one of their own off. I think that is wrong so am pushing the point we should just play and worry about what happens when the time comes...but then that is how I've always played it and maybe isn't the best way. Gotta go. |

I was glad not to have to vote anyone out at the last TC even tho we lost as although I would obviously have voted for someone from what used to be Caboclos I get on well with all the people in Rotu and wouldn't have wanted to have to vote someone- I think it shows how well we are getting on in that we won immunity 2 times out of 3- and the one we lost wasn't really a teamwork thing anyway. It will be interesting to see what happens when we merge. Although the alliance from before still exists, I think friendships between players who have been in the same tribes may have got stronger and so as the numbers of players left go down it may not hold. Tho I will stick with it because I am not the backstabbing type. I think unless they win immunity the people from Caboclos will probably be voted out first just because they are the minority, which is tough but the way it goes I guess :( |
