Joseph: Alright you 9, congratulations! You are now one tribe! Talk amongst yourselves and decide which camp you wish to return to! You can then go there! However, to start things off, your first Reward Challenge will be due tomorrow night at 9:00 p.m. EST!

NAME THE MERGED TRIBE REWARD CHALLENGE
It is very simple..... make a tribe name and tribe flag for the new flag! The more deep of a meaning your name, the more likely you will win! The person with the best name and flag gets 200 individual jet points!!! Good Luck with the challenge and this new phase of the game! Have a good night!

Joseph: Coming soon..... a new tribe with new friendships and probably new alliances form and old alliances becoming stronger! This is where it all gets fun!

TIME FOR THE MERGER!!!!!!!

Well as you should all have noticed by now Joseph hasn't arrived yet with your results. Apparently Yahoo
(the sponsors of our groupsites) won't allow him into our area of the Amazon because of access security
problems. From what I heard Jared got into a scuffle with some netspider monkeys about who would be the main mascot for SOTN IV and so there have been problems with security into our area of the Amazons so Yahoo decided to not let Joseph in just quite yet.

SOO the challenge goes on... I can tell you that I
have received merged tribe name ideas from Margaret,
Annette, Andy, and Mark. If any of you sent your idea
just to Joseph, be sure to forward them my way now and
before tonight (Wed). Remember, in order to win the
reward you must have a flag as well. So Mark, try
making a flag, and Margaret, you need to revise your
flag with your tribal name idea within it. As for
anyone who hasn't at least tried, what are you waiting
for? Get to going because Joseph will be back with the
results as soon as Yahell lets him in!

DAY 27 CHALLENGE UPDATE

"My name for the new merged tribe is TAPAJARI. Im not good with making a flag so I will just send in this name and maybe by the deadline I will have a logo to send in. My flag has great meaning I have combined 2
names of rivers in the amazon together."

*It's now night 28 in the Amazon Rainforest. We see Joseph with a flashlight wandering through the forest. He approaches the new merged tribe's camp.*

Joseph: *smiling in the goofy Jeff Probst style* Well, this is really nice!

Andy: It's about time!

Joseph: Hey! Not my fault! Security is crazy. It's all settled though. Jared and the NetSpider Monkeys will fight for your entertainment after the next Tribal Council for the title of official mascot for SOTN! But that's another day! I'm sure you're all eager for Results from one challenge and info for your next challenge! So.... first.... the reward challenge!

It was very fierce competition. Each idea had positives and negatives. However, after talking with producers, we have made a decision. We decided to award jet points to three of you. First, Andy gets 50 jet points for the great meaning behind his tribe name. Second, Annette will get 100 jet points for her overall good concept that we liked. However, it all came down to Mark's name that we felt was the best tribe name. To us, it seemed the best example of a good tribe name, even though it's only a combination of two South American rivers. His flag will be used, but there is a large possibility for another challenge later on to make a new and better flag. But your new tribe name is....... TAPAJARI!!!
