*It has just gotten dark in the Amazon Rainforest on Night 25, and it continues to rain. Joseph is sitting in a campsite, watching the NCAA basketball tournament via satellite, waiting for the two tribes to complete the immunity challenge! All of a sudden, Annette shows up with the correct answer, followed by Chloe soon after. Joseph lets them wait under the tent with him.*

Joseph: Rotu has jumped out to the early lead and only needs one more. As for Maraamu, they are no where to be seen!!!

*A few minutes later,
Mark comes running in with the correct answer. Shortly behind him runs Lex.*

Lex: Hey Joe, I searched part of the database, but then it shut down on me. I guess it was overusag...

Joseph: The answer was: http://www.geocities.com/planetz7/history18.html
Section: Personality Test Reward Challenge

In a not-so-close immunity challenge, Rotu has defeated Maraamu
and won the final immunity challenge before the merger! This gives
us two different things....

1.
Annette, Chloe, Darren, Margaret, and Mark have reserved theirselves seats in the new tribe when it merges. Also, these 5 are guaranteed positions in either the jury or the final 2.

2.
Andy, Bob, Lex, Linda, and Stacy now have to go to Tribal Council and vote off one of their own. One of them will be gone before the merger takes place! If you don't vote, a vote will be cast against you, and with everybody voting the rest of the game, previous votes can decide who leaves the game later on.

Well, we're almost to the merger! It's been a long 25 days! Rotu, go back to camp and pack your things! We will merge late tomorrow night! Maraamu, I'll see you guys at Tribal Council!

*Rotu celebrates! Maraamu, knowing what they have to do, goes back to camp, to pack their things for Tribal Council!!!!*
ROTU BEATS MARAAMU!

PASS THE MONKEY! Immunity Challenge
*It's Day 22 in the Amazon. The two tribes were set to meet a predestined spot late evening. When they arrive..... they don't see anything set up! Then, Joseph comes out of a grove of trees with a monkey
on his shoulder!*

Joseph: I hope you've enjoyed your break! But now it's time to get back into this game! I understand that a lot of this game has been "unordinary" from previous SOTN games. So.... I decided that I would go back with a good ole tradition! Yes! This is one of the infamous Netspider Monkeys! And It's time to pass it around in.... PASS THE  MONKEY!

*Jared staggers out of the forest...*

Jared: GIMME MY MONKEY!

*Joseph picks trots over to the nearby river and grabs
out a turtle! He hands it to the still drunken Jared!*

Joseph: Here ya go! Here's your monkey!

*Jared travels off as the pinching turtle bites him, but Jared thinks the "monkey" is just playing rough!*

Joseph: Alright.... now... back to the challenge! The challenge is very simple! I am about to pass the monkey to Margaret! I randomly chose to send the monkey to her first! Margaret then has to forward the monkey to a member of the other tribe. This goes back and forth. I will PROBABLY come online sometime between 9:00 p.m. EST and 12:00 a.m. EST tomorrow (Friday) night. Possibly not until Saturday morning. But when I come on and check my mail.... then the challenge will be over and whichever person holds the monkey, their tribe will lose the challenge, giving the other tribe immunity! So you do not want to keep the monkey for long! There's only a couple basic rules....

1. Along with forwarding the monkey on, you must also send the passage of the monkey to
me and Zeb. If we don't receive the pass as well, then the monkey remains with you.

2. You cannot send it directly back to the person sent it to you!

Soooo..... the monkey is about to be sent to Margaret and the tradition continues!
SURVIVORS READY.... GO!!!!

Monkey!

"The Netspider Monkey"
Cedric
6th Tribal Council
*It's mid afternoon of Day 24 in the Amazon Rainforest. We return to where we last left all 11 remaining contestants, Tribal Council! The shocking twist that had the immunity winners, Maraamu, vote someone out of the Rotu Tribe has come full circle. We pick back up with Stacy, the last Maraamu to vote, taking her seat.*

Joseph: Well, I'll go tally the votes!

*Joseph tallies the votes, which is really just the producers putting the votes in the order they want them read on TV, but since this is really an online game, that's whether irrelevant! Anyways... back to the results....*

Joseph: Before I annouce who the 6th person voted out of this game is... I'd like to congratulate you all on playing a great game thus far. This has definitely been the best Survivor on the Net game and cast ever! However, only one of you will win. But as of today, we can find out who definitely won't win. It's time to reveal the votes....

One vote goes to Annette!

But the 6th person voted out of
Survivor on the Net IV....
WITH 5 VOTES......
Cedric, you have been voted out!

*A couple members with previous votes of the former Caboclos Tribe take a huge sigh of relief. Cedric, totally dumbfounded and shocked, rises with his torch.*

Joseph: Cedric, the tribe has spoken! Please send your final words to Zeb as soon as possible.

*Cedric shakes his head as he leaves.**
Monkey Spotted on Night 23 in the Amazon... Challenge Results!
*It's early evening in the Amazon Rainforest. It's approaching Night 23 and Joseph is shown in a camera tent somewhere in the rainforest. He is looking at a computer screen and a radar.*

Joseph: America, we are looking at where the monkey is currently positioned. The red dot on the screen is where the monkey currently is. The challenge is over. And we are about to call the tribes together to announce the winner of the challenge, who exactly will be going to tribal council, plus a revelation of TWO more twists in this game!!!

*Survivor theme plays as we see both tribes getting ready to go to Tribal Council. They have received tre-mail telling them to go to the Tribal Council site. They arrive there and all 11 remaining contestants take a seat in front of Joseph.*

BUT, Rotu, you do not have to go to Tribal Council! Or you don't have to VOTE at Tribal Council!

*Various mumblings are heard! Joseph smiles....*

Joseph: Although we may see a more interesting Tribal Council the other way, it is time for yet another of my twists that I set up before any of you applied! The deal is simply this: Maraamu will go to Tribal Council and vote out a member of Rotu! The Tribal Council page is set up, but you can still enter who you are, then go to the other tribe and enter a vote and I receive it correctly! Soooo..... if you didn't hear me the first time, Maraamu... you will now vote out a member of the Rotu Tribe!

Now, I'm sure you're all wondering. There's been an assumption by many of you that the merger will happen as usual. Now, you should know me better than that! Since there has already been a tribal switch, it is rather irrelevant whether we merge with an even or odd number. When we merge, there will be 9 players left and all of those will have something to do with the ending of this game! There will be one more normal immunity challenge and Tribal Council before that merge. But right now the Rotu tribe has a decision to make about the Maraamu Tribe! Just a little more fun from your good friend Joseph! Good Luck..... it's time to vote!!!!!

*The Maraamu tribe begins to vote and the Rotu Tribe feels their fate go out of their own reach....
CUT TO COMMERCIAL! CONCLUSION TOMORROW NIGHT (Night 24)*
Joseph: Well, and then there were 10! One more immunity challenge, one more normal Tribal Council! Then, we will merge into one! It seems a couple of you expected yourselves or friends to be gone today. However strategy, and possibly fate, has other ideas! Look for your next immunity challenge to come tomorrow (Sunday, Day 25) afternoon! Get back to camp and good luck!

*The two tribes, with 5 people each, return to camp.*

Joseph: Well, what a shocking episode! It seems tribal lines have not been broken, yet they have some tricks up their sleeve! The fun has just begun!!!!

*Roll the normal credits..... yada.....yada....yada!!*
WRAP UP DAYS 20 THRU 24
Days 25 & 26
3/17/02 thru 3/18/02
*It's late afternoon on Day 25 in the Amazon. It's raining very hard, and has been since Tribal Council last night. The two tribes show up at Challenge Beach, drenched, depressed, and ready to merge. But one of the final 10 won't quite make it that far. 5 people will definitely be safe, while 5 others will have to face one more vote to decide who will make it the farthest without being on the jury. The two tribes meet Joseph.*
RAINY LATE NIGHT DAY 25
Needle in a Haystack Immunity Challenge
Joseph: Maraamu, let me take this away from you. Immunity is up for grabs. The final tribe actually gets to sign the statue and we will auction it off on eBay! But it will be given to the winning tribe first... it's raining pretty hard, I need to get back to my nice warm camp with a PlayStation 2 and ribs, so we'll go ahead and start this speed challenge! Here we go......

The following challenge will test your internet navigation skills. The challenge is actually very simple. The following phrase has been posted somewhere on the Survivor on the Net database that Zeb has created in a mastermind fashion. There are day-to-day pages, info pages, behind the scenes pages, host pages, etc. He has made a home page, plus 4 individual pages for Survivor on the Net I, II, III, and IV!!! The phrase will not be placed on Sebastian's site. With the links you already have or by asking various people online, you need to navigate your way through the Survivor on the Net webpages in search of one phrase....
"Pride Cometh Before a Fall"!!! It can be anywhere. All you have to do is find it! Once you find it, I need you to e-mail me the following information: The URL for the page you found it at and the paragraph/section you found it in. The first tribe that has 3 out of their 5 members e-mail me this information wins immunity! Simple, yes? Will it take time? Depends on your knowledge and probably a little luck! Survivors Ready.... GO!!!!

*The survivors, wet in rain, race off into the rainforest, in search of the ultimate needle in a haystack!!!!!*
Rotu Runs in the Right Direction!
*Lex stops and sees three Rotuians have beat him to everything! Joseph smiles, grabs a megaphone, and screams....*

Joseph: CHALLENGE OVER! EVERYBODY COME BACK!

*Slowly, the other 6 contestants come back....*
EVERYBODY COME BACK!
The Netspider Monkey recognizes
Darren from pre-
vious SOTN games and finds
a nice home at his
"upcominghm" place!
Joseph: First things first..... it's kinda obvious to tell which tribe has lost. After all, Darren does have the monkey on his shoulder. So.... that means Rotu will not keep the Immunity Statue, and Immunity Is Awarded to the Maraamu Tribe!!! Margaret started with the monkey, but she accidently sent it all the way to Iceland to Mary Jo, our SOTN III Host! But, it was returned to sender and Mag sent it to Bob, who promptly returned it to Darren, who it stayed with! Now, I'm kinda saddened by the lack of passing of the monkey, so don't be surprised if you see a different version of this challenge later on down the road for Immunity! But, the challenge is over... and Maraamu is safe!

The Rotu Tribe holds the Immunity Idol
"The Netspider Monkey"
Linda
7th Tribal Council
*It's early evening in Day 26. Joseph has convened both tribes to come to Tribal Council, for immediately after the vote the merger will take place. The Maraamu Tribe votes, Joseph tallies, and he returns with the votes.*

Joseph: We've dragged out these first 7 Tribal Council periods long enough. You don't need any drama or anything now. You're all really anxious to move on to the Final 9, and your one tribe! So..... without further adieu, let's find out who will not make it that far!

One vote goes to..... Stacy!!! And I think we all know who these next 4 votes go towards!!! Once again, with the second straight unlucky SOTN appearance, Linda.... with 4 votes.....
the tribe has spoken!!!

*Linda nods and gets up and faces Joseph.*

Joseph: Before I snuff your torch, I'd like to say something. The producers have informed me that you have set an all-time record for Jet Points on a Survivor on the Net game! With 1,710 jet points, you now hold this record which was previously held by Will in game 3 with 1,560. And as we know, he made the final 3 so that makes your accomplishment even greater. At the tribal switch, Linda, you had 40% of Caboclos's jet points! You have obviously played well and in turn, have met your doom as a huge threat! It was an honor Linda, but your time and luck has run out! The tribe has spoken!

*Linda's torch is snuffed, and she walks away, waving to all the former Caboclians!*
Linda's Final Words
The game has ended for me, but the friendship made can never end. Firstly Id like to say thank you to Mark and Mag (and also Cedric), for their undying support towards me during my hard times. Without it I could never have made it this far in this game. We had an awesome team, only Yanonamo was luckier but we were awesome. And to Maraamu, for those who took the trouble to get to know me although deep down it wasnt actually necessary because we know the fact that Ill be out next once we lost, I thank you. It was really nice knowing you guys. And to the hosts thank you the giving me the opportunity to play in this season, who knows I might come back for the next one. I am glad I managed to make a tremendous comeback after slacking in the first challenge and I am happy with the way I played this game. To especially Mark and Mag, I love you guys an awful lot, good luck in the merge. Everyone, play fair be nice.

well what can I say, it's just a game and I lost it. I'm kind of disapointed for 2 reasons first one, usually in a survivor game, i make it to at least the jury ; this is my worse survivor game ever. second, i was voted out by four players that i don't know at all (since they were on the other tribe - I know bob a little bit)I think they had the opportunity to vote out a caboclos member who got no former votes against him. That was a good strategy, but I wish they would have try to know me better...

anyway, caboclos members, we tried our best, I don't know how long you are going to stay in the game, but good luck !!! we were an amazing tribe to the former yanomoma (something like that) you have some nice people too in you tribe and I hope I would be sitting in the jury to help them win.

Zeb and Joe, thanks for letting me playing this game, that was a lot of fun and tension, fun and tension, fun and....

GO JARED, eat them all !!
