My teaching philosophy is that with patience, every student is capable of doing the work - at their own pace. Excellence comes from regular practice. The workshops are technique filled programs that will leave participants smiling, and with a sense of satisfaction. The lectures are dynamic. They are designed to encourage the audience to view and discuss the implementation of ideas - whether they are about low tech stitching solutions or networking.
The small pieces I create in my home studio are playful, sometimes embroidered or embellished, and designed as they are constructed. As you'll soon see, I've rarely met a fabric, bead, thread, or yarn that I didn't like!
