| Information for Program Coordinators |
| * Booking organizations will provide lodging, meals including those enroute, and door-to-door travel expenses. Mileage reimbursement is at prevailing IRS standard rate, currently 50.5 cents per mile in 2008. * Cold water should be provided during program. * Lodging with a guild member in a pet-free, non-smoking home is welcome. Accomodations in a hotel, motel, or inn are also acceptable. * Bookings in 2008, 2009 and 2010 are being scheduled and contracted now. Bookings in 2011 are being reserved but not contracted. * Patti prefers to make her own air transportation arrangements. Booking organization shall reimburse at the time of transportation reservation. * A 6 hour workshop is 6 hours of actual class time. Set-up, a lunch break, and packing-up should be added onto this time. * Workshop size is generally limited to 20 students, 2 per 8' table minimum. Two other tables for teacher supplies will be needed. * Lunch during workshops - For full-day workshops, please plan a lunch break of appropriate length away from the stitching area. * Some materials will be available for sale during a workshop, and following the lecture, unless otherwise requested. No portion of sales shall accrue to sponsoring guild. Nor does Patti take time away from the program for sales. |
