What is a visit to PEEC like for a quilter or stitcher?
Located in the heart of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, imagine an experience in the Pocono's between camping and a hotel stay at a bargain rate. The heated residence cabins are small Honeymoon Haven cabins that have been converted to small dormitories. All have heat and bathroom facilities. Facilities are spartan, surrounding woodlands are lovely. Request sharing with a friend if you are traveling together.
No dishes and cooking for us - provided are three delicious square meals a day served buffet style with the occasional snack. This leaves plenty of time for quilting or stitching on your favorite project. All participants may work on the weekend's topic, or a project of their own. Weekend visits begin with arrival on Friday afternoon. Needlework studio time and lessons are offered on Friday evening, Saturday morning, afternoon and evening, and Sunday morning. Photo opportunities and wrap-up is held just prior to Sunday lunch.
