After Party
by Raymond Alba

For most people living here in the city, they all live boring, fast-paced and busy lives. We go through our daily routines, accomplish our tasks and seldom have the time to enjoy and pamper ourselves after days of hard work. Whenever we get the chance to go out for relaxation, we never forget to have a night of fun dining and drinking with our family and friends in the coolest and hippest restaurants and bars in the Metro.

Hanging out never fails to satisfy our need to break away from our usual life. We work and study hard, but we party harder! But have you thought about what happens to these lively places after all the people have gone drunk and head back to their reality?

I have thought of the concept of showing to the viewers of my photographs the irony presented in these pictures. Gimmick places may usually be full of life in the evening but I have thought of taking pictures of these places in the morning, without all the people and the lights. They present the sadness personified in several hours of dormancy. I would like to present the fact that when we are studying or working during the day, these places take their rest, in preparation for another lively night to bring happiness and relaxation to the people.
