JAC TRUCKS CHOSEN BY PEPSI FOR LOGISTICS UPGRADE

A Pepsi representative gets ready to test drive one of the newly-delivered light trucks from top China automobile manufacturer JAC.  The acquisition of JAC Queen trucks is part of the companys moves to upgrade its logistics and distribution capabilities, particularly in the North Luzon area where Pepsis Multiple Route Entrepreneurial Distribution System (MR EDS) is being implemented.  Pepsi officials, led by Mr. Romeo Velando, National Fleet Services Manager, and Mr. Rene Santos, Engineering Director, were more than convinced that JAC was the best brand to start the evolution of vehicles within the Pepsi company.  JAC, which is exclusively imported and distributed in the Philippines by Mitsui Trading, is the number one exporter of light trucks in China, with over 300,000 vehicles sold across more than 30 countries worldwide.
PEPSI UPGRADES LOGISTICS CAPABILITIES WITH NEW JAC TRUCKS

Top China automobile manufacturer JAC recently delivered a new fleet of light trucks to Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. as part of the soft drink companys moves to upgrade its logistics and distribution capabilities. Mr. Romeo Velando, National Fleet Services Manager, said that they decided to purchase the JAC Queen trucks over surplus and recon trucks  because the maintenance and production losses caused by surplus trucks could amount to much more than the initial cost of the brand new trucks.  Pepsi officials were more than convinced that JAC was the best brand to start the evolution of vehicles within the Pepsi company given  JACs rank as the number one exporter of light trucks in China, with over 300,000 vehicles sold across more than 30 countries worldwide. JAC is exclusively imported and distributed in the Philippines by Mitsui Trading Philippines, with showroom at 1129 EDSA, Balintawak, Quezon City.
