In 2004, Pilot Consulting was blessed with the opportunity to start giving back to the society it had served for almost 10 years. As spearhead of PROJECT EMBRACE, a multi-media campaign to raise public awareness on Autism, the Company volunteered its services to the Philippine Association for Behavior Analysis (PABA) and Autism Society Philippines (ASP), and harnessed its extensive network of creative, production and media resources to produce a compelling campaign.
It is estimated that 1 out of every 166 children has Autism, 4 times more prevalent in boys, only 5% of whom are diagnosed and only 2% are getting help. Pilot knew that the power of advertising and media could reach more parents and get more help for the children.
Almost immediately after launch, the Project Embrace contact numbers have been practically ringing off the hook and both PABA and ASP are able to reach a wider segment of the population who otherwise would have been beyond help.
