And
when the Sea was full,
The Voice spoke again.
"Let birds fly across the earth,
Across the expanse of the Sky."
Then
the Dancer danced lightly across the Sky,
Stirring the breezes.
And
from the breezes came birds of all kinds:
waterfowl
seabirds
woodland songbirds
and wasteland scavengers.
And
when the air was filled,
The Voice echoed another command,
A command to the creation:
"Be fruitful and increase in number;
Fill the waters.
And let the birds fill the earth."
Then
Day yielded to Night,
Then Night to Day,
And the morning was the Fifth Day.
