"I call for a vote. Do we get rid of Lily or not? Vote yes or no." And with that Hans raised his hand. Kevin raised his hand, too, and finally Rose raised her hand.

Ben shook his head no.

"It is carried three to one."

Ben slid out of the booth, stood, and reached for his coat. He left through the back door without saying a word.

Rose looked at Hans, then at Kevin. "Kevin you just do it," then she got up and went back to the kitchen, and Hans followed.

Kevin then left and went home. His first task was to go check the medicine cabinet, and then he fixed himself some supper. Well, he took a container of clam chowder out of the freezer and heated it in the microwave. He poured himself a large glass of wine and looked for the saltines. He then sat down with a pad and started outlining his plan, his plan for murder.

The following morning Kevin called Lily's secretary and Bev sent him Lily's itinerary for the next three months. Kev made a date with Bev for the spring weekend, then he took the sheet of paper and studied it. Little did Bev know, and much less did Lily Carrington know, that Lily had lived her last summer season in North Beach, for she was to die and only he, Kevin Andrews, knew how she would die.
