Soon Rose was there with the coffee cups and a jug of coffee/ "Fresh brewed." She set the mugs down and looked at the clock. "Five after, time to close," and she walked to the front door, latched it, and flipped the "open/closed" sign. She walked back as Hans got up to flip the light switch.

They spent the next half hour pumping Kevin on his summer and if he had killed anyone. If he had gotten married, and on and on.

Finally, after the yakking slowed, Kevin's face turned serious and the mood of the four became quite somber. "Do we agree that Lily has to go? Lily Carrington is dragging us down, so do we agree it is time to get rid or her? To kill her off?"

"I don't know Kev. Killing her is sort of drastic, what if some how . . . " Ben was always the softie.

"No Ben, Kevin is right. We must kill her and get on with our lives, for she will drag us down. We don't have the millions that her old man Sam. We don't have millions for attorneys like he has." Hans had straightened so he would get his thoughts in.

"Well, I am sort of with Ben. Can't we just figure out a way to just get rid of her? Murder is so permanent?" Rose's face showed concern for she was basically a non-violent person.

The discussion went on for about twenty minutes, the pros and cons, until it was finally just bickering.
