| One of the more stable and developed nations of the known world, despite its ongoing conflicts with the southern Helena and the far southwestern Matsurri Empire. The nation lies on the eastern coast of the northern continent and is bordered to the west by The Wildlands, to the north by Griffon Vale, and to the south by the Nooslin and the Ghost Sands, a desert which serves as a boundary between Tierra and Helena. Main Cultures: Highland, Lowland, and Sylvan. Government: each of the human cultures is represented in a triumverant, and a council of representatives from each territory assists the Triumverant in managing policy and spending (overseen by an elected advisor to be mediator). Tierra is the main setting for most of the series. |
