Faerie Dragons are a mysterious breed of tiny, serpentine dragons that sometimes lack any limbs except their wings, and others will sport front legs, back legs, or both.  All faerie dragons have insectile wings, sometimes gossamer, othertimes like a butterfly or moth.

They are silent maow, rarely even squeaking, and none have been known to speak, though a few are telepathic and can send mental pictures to convey thoughts and emotions.

Faerie-Dragons typically leave the care of their young to a trusted human or maow to raise, and will attach themselves to the one who raised them, becoming a lifelong companion.  To be granted guardianship over such an egg is a rare honor, as so few faerie dragons exist.  Dragons, humans, tarri, and even kriewolf have been bestowed with the honor.  A few cavio are also known to be companions to these rare dragons.

Magic: Each faerie dragon sports one element of magic.

Size: Faerie dragons are tiny creatures, rarely getting any longer than 24 inches.  Mysteriously, their lifespan is tied directly to that of their companion; when their guardian dies, they die.
