2. Help educate the public about the existance of puppy mills by putting an editorial in the newspaper.
3. Write to the United States Department of Agriculture and tell them to enforce the law.
4. Write to your Senator and Congress person and ask them to pass new laws protecting the dogs.
5. Go and visit the stores in your area that sell puppies. Note the conditions, ask to see the AKC papers, write down the breeder, broker, and the state. Send it to us and we'll check and see if they are licensed breeders. Actually, it doesn't mean a think if they are licensed. Just think of it this way: No reputable breeder would EVER sell their puppies to pet stores.
6. If you happen to actually come across a puppy mill, report it immediately to the nearest human society, or ASPCA. If you are still unsure on what to do tell us about it. It would also help if you had pictures for proof, but if you don't, thats ok. When you tell anyone about anything, make sure you say the facts, not emotions.
