Starting the game (Day 1 and 2)
Your hero is standing in Kreesha and Rakeesh's home. As with everyone else
in the game, greet them and tell them things by clicking on yourself, and
asking them about everything they know. Remember to say goodbye. Check your
inventory. Each kind of character with find something useful and specific
to their job description. For more details and fun check out the appropriate
section for your character type. They are called "Thief Fun", "Fighter Fun",
and Magic-User Fun". Paladins and paladin wanna-bees generally follow the
fighter's path, check the tips section for paladin tips. Leave the Liontaur's
home through the left. Now in the city, go down the stairs, southwest. You
will find the hero in the bazaar, but your money is no good right now. Go
northwest to find the money changer. As you approach, a thief tries to run
away! All heros should run after the thief. There are other ways, like having
magic users cast calm, flame, or force and the others can throw a dagger-
but they will get you into a little bit of trouble and you won't receive as
many points. When you are summoned before Rajah, greet him, answer his question,
defend Rakeesh, and say goodbye when you are dismissed. Once outside again,
speak with the two guards. Go back to the money changer and exchange your
money, so that you may purchase items now. You can bargain with the vendors,
the higher your honor the better. Walk around the bazaar, and buy whatever
is needed for your type of character (see the "Fun" sections). Buy 5 zebra
skins, a fine spear, beads, a fine robe, 5 waterskins, tinderbox if you don't
have the flame spell, honey, 20 meat rations (bargain the vendor down to one
common), and attempt to buy a carving from the Katta dealer. For the Katta
dealer, tell him about Shapeir and give him the note in your inventory. Try
to buy a carving, and he will give it to you. Curiously enough, all characters
receive a puzzle point if they steal from the drummer on the southmost part
of the bazaar, without any penalties. Go back up to near the Liontaurs' home
and go inside the Apothecary. Chat with him a bit and buy any pills you may
need in the near future.
