North-east for Bergen in Norway is Osterøy.
The island is surrounded by fjords which vary both in breath, length
and depth. Whether you take the ferry or the bridge across to Osterøy,
you will continuelly be amazed as you drive along the roads.
Lakes and tarns suddenly appear to provide spots of scenic beauty
amongst farmland still being effectively cultivated by the local farmers.
The island have also an urban landscape with industriel sites,
shops and cultural facilities of various types.
