Herastrau Park

Last Saturday we went to "Gaudeamus", the book fair, together with our English teacher. The fair is held once a year, usually in the Exhibition building. You can find all the publishing houses from Romania there and thousands of books of different types or even sizes: the smallest can be read in five minutes using a magnifying glass while the biggest weighs ten kilos. Then we stopped in the neibourhood, in Herastrau Park. It is a wonderful park with lots of trees and a large lake in the middle. You can hire a boat and have a beautiful stroll for as long as you want. There is a fine tennis court there, where we like playing tennis, a flower exhibition and many benches under the big old trees which invite you to sit and admire the sight.
You can also have a lot of fun there. You can have a ride on the octopus, go on the dodgems or even bungee jumping. We spent a gorgeous day in the fresh cool air of Herastrau Park.
