TRACON Airspace

The asterisks above 099 within the center section of ONT approach airspace is there for a reason.  Los Angeles Feeder Approach controls that section of airspace above 10,000.  It is imperative that you give a pointout to the FE controller (or LAX APP controller if FE is not open) concerning any VFR aircraft who may be entering that airspace. If the controller requests the aircraft to come to his frequency, hand him off.  That area is heavily traveled by turbojet aircraft inbound to LAX.  Ontario's departures are structured so that no IFR departure fly's through that area within FE approach.

Ontario Class C Airspace

VFR aircraft are required to contact you prior to entering the Class C airspace.  Please recognize the altitudes the airspace is at.  You may have an aircraft departing POC (Pomona-Brakett) and is level at 2500, flying southbound.  Is he within the Class C airspace? No.  That section of airspace is from 2700 to 5000.
