| Welcome VFR Pilots. . . The empire area is a great place
for VFR flying. Home to a number of fields with their own
challenges, and exciting approaches.
Each airport has it's own VFR procedures which must be adhered to for safety. It is key to follow whatever standard VFR procedures are for the field, as certain death can occur. Any information found on this page is not for use in real world aviation or navigation. This information is strictly for the flight simulators which are useable within the VATSIM network. For real world navigation assistance at these fields, please contact the local FBO. |

Pomona-Brakett-KPOC Departure RWY26R: No departures before 0900 Local. Climb RWY heading to the airport boundary. Then fly north of the lake shore. No turns before the freeway. Right turns at the freeway. Departure RWY26L: Turn south end of the dam. Departures will remain south of the 26R departures. Right turns at the freeway. Left turns at the middle of the lake. Departure RWY8L: Departure straight out for closed traffic. Climb runway heading to 1600ft. Departure RWY8R: Turn at the fairgrounds if safe Prevent over flights of homes for Noise Abatement. Arrivals from the west: Report Kellog Intersection (210-10 freeways) |

Cable-KCCB Departures RWY24: Execute a 270 degree left turn upon departure Arrivals RWY24: Enter from north on left crosswind. From the south enter on the 45 degree, no straight in. |
