The fae-folk is composed by several different
kinds of creatures, according to their element, their tasks
and the place they're bound to or found on. Therefore,
we can have beings belonging to the four elements,
classified like this:
- EARTH: forest: fairies, trolls, gnomes,
elves, goblins • farms: elves, goblins,
imps • castles - bridges: leprechauns,
brownies, banshees
- WATER: sea: mermaids, sirens, nymphs •
river: undines, nymphs
- AIR: sylphs, dryads, trows
- FIRE: salamanders
Usually, a mystical-magical environment is assigned to
these beings, because commonly they're thought as
creations of children's imagination; although there are some
'proves' of their existence. Anyhow, who didn't at least once
put some object in some place to never find it again in that
particular spot but somewhere else, when we're sure we
never left it there ?? Well, that's one of the large amounts
of facts assigned to the fae-folk.
I hope you enjoy the following pages, meant to clarify and
describe these little people. Let yourself be guided by your
imagination and enter in a place where reality has no
boundaries.
