GOBLINS The goblins are supernatural beings, without soul and of stature small variable between the 30 cm and the meter high. They have a generally benevolent attitude with the human beings, for those that carry out domestic works or in the fields in exchange for some food. Most of the goblins inhabit the forest, having as housing the interior of some tree or, even, in the underground of the earth, inside some cave or cavity. Their customs are night and they possess an extremely susceptible character that leads them to adopt pejorative or hostile attitudes against the men that offend them. They have such abilities as being mimicked, to become invisible, to go by the eye of the lock, to imitate the sounds of the animals, playing a human being with their hands, producing him a chill. The nature of the goblins is distributed between that of the man and that of the angel, in same parts, for they can model its bodies to its whim. They’re very provided of powers and talismen to be able to make all kinds of incantations. In the mythology of each region they’ve been given very different names according to the language, the religion or the folklore, but they’re generally known to be the elementary beings' part. Some can end up living up to 500 years. The goblins are usually mischievous, jokers and shameless; they’re almost always of good humor, although goblins of evil nature exist able to torture a man unfailingly. Domestic goblins: They live in the interior or in the surroundings of the houses. They were centuries ago inhabitants of rural areas, wooded and mountainous, living in interior of caves and grottos, until some of them, they came closer to human homes, first for curiosity and then with the only objective of having a good time. They are manifested preferably at night. They have 50 cm approximately of high and are of human aspect. They leave at night and love to have a good time to the sleepers' coast, bothering them and scaring them, although to some, love to collaborate with the men in the tasks. Its name according to some specialists of the topic comes from the Arab "duar" that would be translated as: the one that inhabits or inhabitant. Family imps: They are some small gremlins, with devil's aspect that aren't bound to a house, but to a person, to which help, transforming it into their owner. They are linked to the witchcraft. Goblins of bedrooms: They belong to a strange family of goblins, aggressive and individualistic, they cause nightmares and choose as their victims, to women and children.
