Tacidblue.com The Scam

Tacidblue probably isn't the only name that these con(s) have worked under before and its probably not the last. The scam works like this: A website is set up that looks reliable and professional (sometimes with stolen images and statements from other web site hosting services).

Then an attractive package is put together. $20 a year for unlimited space, bandwidth, subdomains, plus tacid said you could host up to 5 websites on one account for no extra charge, it is very hard to find a host that offers all this plus a more then reasonable price.

When you go to the register form it said below "warning if this transaction is completed your card will be charged $20 a year for the next 10 years until canceled" it didn't really specify whether it meant the credit card or the tacidblue account. It was very easy for this form to charge you several times with out you even knowing it and without giving a transaction number for the other times you were charged.

Then after a couple months they shut down, reopen a totally different site and start over, leaving credit card companies and services like instabill.com to give refunds. The con(s) keep the money, destroy peoples websites and make false promises of refunds then disappear.

It is hard to say where the con(s) of tacidblue are right now, or if they have or had many websites that resell web space like this. I am currently keeping my eye on several as many others have reported to me of doing.

I was charged twice for one transaction and so were several others, I never got a refund from tacidblue even though one was promised I had to request a chargeback from my credit card company. I then canceled my card.

I think I, and many others were subject to a scam, but there is the possibility tacidblue was the worst hosting service on the planet and they had no idea what they were doing and that is why so many people lost out on this whole incident. Whatever the case many people have been screwed over by this con(s) in many different ways. There is much evidence that Tacidblue possibly did commit fraud and is under investigation by credit card companies, law enforcement agencies, and probably other private individuals like my self. If you were taken advantage of by this possible scam, take the initiative and make a complaint with the IFCC.
