Fact 1. Tacidblue.com is shut down June 6th 2001, by Fasthosts.com for breach of contract. Sites were deleted, promised refunds were not given by the owner of tacidblue and had to be sought else where. This wasn't the first time...

Fact 2. ValveNetwork.com! There is no proof or evidence that the kind people of ValveNetwork were affiliated, or had any interaction with Tacidblue what so ever. They just have pointed tacidblue.com to there own domain name...

The PI on Tacid

I have been conducting this personal private investigation of Tacidblue and the where a bouts of "shang" for just under a month. I have checked every ones stories that were involved and contacted many online businesses including fasthost.com and instabill.com. I have saved all conversations, e-mail's, and other information from everyone I've talked to about this matter and will be posting some of that information soon on this web site.

Through out my investigation I believe I have talked to individuals that contacted me, who were directly in correspondence with "Shang" or tacidblue. I think individuals have reported false information to me to through my private investigation off track. I have saved all their messages and correspondence information as well.

I'm not so much angry at tacid as much as I want to make others aware of the trouble they caused so many people. Tacidblue.com was not that "big of a deal" pre-say The individual lost at the least $20 and at the most $200. However tacid was more of an inconvenience, a tick on the ass of the online hosting community. Many people did receive there money back and others did not.

This investigation serves as a warning as well as a watch tower for online scams such as the tacidblue affordable hosting scam. I am casually keeping my eye on several sites right now, waiting for them to screw up in classic tacidblue fashion. And if they don't, then they don't.

Prevention is the key word here. I'm sure everyone involved is now keeping a watchful eye on who they trust to provide hosting on the web. I know I will be more careful, not paranoid but cautious, and look into services more thoroughly next time around.
