| Another epic tale in the 'gong fu' style of storytelling and movie-making, Feng Yun (Wind, Cloud), the comic, movie and TV series, introduces us to two young men, Nie Feng and Bu Jing Yun. Their story is fraught with danger, adventure and fantastic martial arts weapons, skills and secrets. Feng Yun follows a twisted, complicated plot filled with bittersweet friendships, powerful enemies, mysterious connections and moving romance. Although Feng Yun has perhaps been more widely known as a comic book series, the movie and tv series are sure to introduce many more people to this great story. Although the tv series and the movie especially are both lacking in story and character development when compared to the comics, they are, in themselves, great entertainment and are well able to bring the saga of Feng Yun to vivid life. |

| Please note: this site is largely dedicated to Feng Yun as shown in the tv series, so the storyline and characters will differ from the other versions of the story. Although the tv series has been harshly criticized by many, especially hard-core comic Feng Yun supporters, I feel that it is quite a good series, compared not with the comics, but with other Chinese tv series as a more fair comparison. Although it is certain that the tv series is lacking and differing in plot and detail compared with the comic books, it still correctly conveys the spirit and unshakable parts/traits of the plot and characters. |
