| Chin Suang ('Cheein' 'Swahng'-Frost) - The eldest disciple under Xiong Ba, the elder martial brother to Bu Jing Yun and Nie Feng. He is a kind-hearted person, more like Feng in personality than Yun. |
| You Ruo ('Yo' 'Ruo') - The only daughter of Xiong Ba. She is smitten with Nie Feng, although Feng thinks of her only as his sister and has no love interest in her. |
| Cho Cho ('Cho' 'Cho') - The strange-looking underhand of Xiong Ba; he takes care of orders for servants, goes on inner errands, etc. He helps Feng and Yun once Xiong Ba begins trying to get rid of them. |

| Kong Ci ('Kohng' 'Ts') - A servant girl at Tian Xia Hui. Bu Jing Yun falls in love with her; his love for her, and her secret love for Nie Feng is used by Xiong Ba to break up the friendship between Feng and Yun. |
| Xiong Ba ('Sheeyong' 'Bah') - The leader of the martial arts school/clan Tian Xia Hui, and shi fu to Suang, Yun and Feng. He is the one who brought Feng and Yun together, and who will try to destroy them before they destroy him. |
| Jue Wu Shen ('Jue' 'Wu' 'Shen') - An invader from Japan; he and his two sons take over after Xiong Ba's part of the story. Nie Feng and Bu Jing Yun go to various means to try and defeat him. |
| Duan Lang ('Duan' 'Lahng') - A childhood acquaintence of Nie Feng. Later, Duan Lang would join Xiong Ba and cause Bu Jing Yun and Nie Feng a lot of trouble. Duan Lang is the hereditary owner of the Huo Lin Jian, or the Fire Lin Sword, named after the fire beast, the Huo Qi Lin. The Fire Lin Jian is considered a "dark" weapon, compared to Jian Chen's (see below) Hero Sword, a "good" weapon. |
| Chu Chu ('Chu' 'Chu') - A farmer's daughter, whose father saves Bu Jing Yun and gives him his Qi Lin arm. Chu Chu then follows Jing Yun, and later they fall in love. |
| Di Er Meng ('Di' 'Are' 'Mung'') - The mysterious person who helped out Nie Feng and sent him letters flown by pigeons. Nie Feng's true love. |
| Wu Ming ('Wu' 'Ming') - Called "No Name," he is a legendary master of martial arts, rumored to have died 20 years ago. He helps out Feng and Yun many times. |
| Jian Chen ('Jeean' 'Chen') - The top disciple of Wu Ming. He is the owner of the Hero's Sword, and is a gentleman as well as a great swordsman. However, he becomes an unwilling pawn used against his friends Feng and Jing Yun by Duan Lang and Xiong Ba.. |
| Huo Qi Lin ('Huo' 'Chi' 'Lin') - A legendary beast, a fire Qi Lin. A qi lin is a Chinese mythological beast with the body of a horse, hooves of a deer, head and tail of a dragon. It is covered in golden scales; is it associated with the Chinese dragon and pheonix. The Huo Qi Lin plays many roles in Feng Yun: its blood flows in Nie Feng (heredity) and Bu Jing Yun (his Qi Lin arm); its twisted lair sees many epic battles; it also guards special fruits called Xea Pu To - Blood Grapes, which restores a person's chi and strength. |
