Things you should know...

Tire Pressures

When at the track, make sure u LEAK air out of ur tires...by leak i dont mean punch a hole in ur rubber, i mean let some air out -_-; the tires will heat up a lot after driving 1 or 2 laps and the pressures will sky rocket. having too high of a pressure will result in over inflation. try running cold pressures of 26psi up to around 30psi. check the air pressure after 3 laps, u will be surprised. it will rise by 7-10psi.

Which ever end has the higher pressure will have less grip(assuming that u have stiff sidewalls to begin with) so my personal setting has been 26-27psi front and 32psi rear cold. that worked very well for me...

a common approach at getting the right tire pressure...
mark ur sidewalls(draw like a square with some chalk, make sure it's very visible) an ample amount once the tires are heated up and do some laps... if after a lap u see that the chalk has rubbed off then u need to add more air into the tires to increase traction. This is a good indicator of how much your sidewalls are flexing. if they are flexing too much even at warm temperatures it means u need more air...

Regular Track Procedure

I call this regular track procedure for lack of better terminology. but what i actually mean is that after lapping for 10-20min u better pit or your engine and brakes will over heat. once in the pits keep the engine running! let it idle for about 5 mins before you shut it off! it is like a cool down phase for the motor. while it is in the pits make sure u have the hood up so that it gets proper ventilation and if u have rear discs DO NOT PUT ON THE HAND BRAKE! the rotors are EXTREMELY HOT and will warp if u put on the hand brake. but blocks behind the tires or something.

Also, make sure when driving around the track that you have the heat on at full blast so that the heat from the engine bay get's to escape somewhere. u want your motor to last dont u? o.O

Always warm up

Before redlining the shit out of your engine, take 3 or so laps to warm up everything else! you need to warm up the brake pads(especially if you have race pads because obviously they only work in the upper heat ranges) and also need to warm up the tires...because u need the pressures to be at the right amount...u dont want to be tracking with 26psi pressure do you? o.O
