What do Guides do?

Patrols are formed within a unit so that you can work together in smaller groups. Within the patrol you will work as part of a team & plan many of your own activities.

Interest badges can be worked towards either as a unit, patrol or individually. This is where you can work more towards something that you are especially interested in, from circus skills to film lover. While you go through Guides you can complete Guide challenges to be completed over a 1yr period. The ultimate Guide Challenge is the Baden Powell Challenge.

Units

There are 4 Guide groups in North Pembrokeshire they are in: Crymych, St. Dogmael’s, Fishguard and St. David’s.

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (from 14yrs)
Go abroad – there are international opportunities for all over 14rs
Queen’s Guide Award – from 16yrs, gain the highest award in Guiding
Become a Young Leader with Rainbows, Brownies or Guides
