Maureen's Cross-Stitch

I began to cross-stitch in 1993, and learned from the "master"; my mom, who has done incredible needlepoint, cross-stitch, embroidery, sewing, quilting, and more over the years. I try to make time nearly every day to work on my latest cross-stitch project which is a great way to relax, be productive and creative all at once.

Easter Bunnies
My Easter cross-stitch:
I finished it on Good Friday.
It was mostly done during my
second bout of pneumonia
this winter; I had to do something
while I recuperated on the couch!
Roses
Roses I did a few years back and gave to
my Mom and Dad

Christmas Home
(Click to see the entire piece)
I did this last fall/winter when I had my
first bout of pneumonia.
It's acutally two pieces - the "inside" of
the house was done on a seperate piece of aida.
Santa
(Click to see the entire piece)
I did this Santa a few years ago;
it was one of my first projects.
He comes out every
Christmas...

Geese
Something for our kitchen

Wolf
This was the first cross-stitch I ever did, in 1993.
It was a Christmas gift to Hubert, as he really likes wolves.
Pumpkin and Autumn Leaves
Thanksgiving piece that is not yet finished.
This will actually be a table runner, with this
pattern on each end. For this year though,
I only completed one side...so it's just
a picture so far!

Halloween Ghost Cats
A Halloween "Ghost Cats" picture I made for Heather
Kitchen Cross Stitch
My newest project for the kitchen
Wiley Coyote sweatshirt
My Wile E. Coyote sweatshirt I did a few years ago
it still looks great!

Thanksgiving Table Runner
It took awhile to do, but I finally finished!
